WHAT IS LA BOÎTE ABRICOT?
La Boîte Abricot is an intimate/boutique DIY studio that offers hands-on classes for a variety of craft projects for adults and kids. Join an instructor-led workshop where you can make custom wood plank signs, canvas tote bags, t-shirts and much more! We love having guest artisans and makers share their expertise in jewellery making, script writing, knitting and more.

The address of our studio is Route de Sauverny 282A, 1290 Chavannes-des-Bois
DO I NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS ?
Most of our workshops, camps and classes require advanced registration so we can make sure we have all of the supplies and a spot ready when you arrive. However short notice sign-up is often possible, just call us or drop us a line.
DO YOU HAVE DROP IN EVENTS/OPEN STUDIO HOURS
We do open our doors on select days for open studio hours. Please check our calendar for details.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
There are a few parking spacing available in front of the studio suitable for quick drop off. A large parking lot with free parking for 3 hours is available at Chemin des Sports in Chavannes des Bois, just around the corner from the studio.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES ?
Yes! Please contact us at the studio or swing by anytime and we will be able to assist you.
WHEN AND HOW CAN I PAY ?
In our studio we accept cash, Twint and card payment. To reserve a birthday party, you will be asked for a down payment to reserve the date and we will ask you to settle the remainder of the invoice on the day of the party.
CAN I SIGN UP FOR A WORKSHOP WITH FRIENDS ?
Yes, please note if you would like to sit with a friend when you register
CAN I HOST A PRIVATE PARTY AT LA BOÎTE ABRICOT ?
Yes, send an email at info@laboiteabricot.ch we would love to help customize an event for you and your friends or a birthday party for your children
WHAT IS YOUR CAPACITY ?
We have a seating capacity of 20 for birthday parties and other events. Our courses are generally tailored to suit 6 to 12 participants
DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE FOOD/ BEVERAGES ?
Sure! You are welcome to bring some snacks/appetizers/ cake/ beverages to enjoy while crafting or for a Birthday party. We can provide plates & napkins.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY ?
We all know that life can happen and sickness is not planned however due to the custom nature of our projects and preparation required for events please notify us 72 hours before the event for a 50% credit to apply to future event. Due to staffing we reserve the right to cancel workshops if attendance is below 4 people.
I HAVE A CRAFT I FOUND ONLINE THAT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO MAKE; CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE A PROJECT FOR ME ?
Sure, let’s chat! We do love Pinterest and other inspiring pages and are always willing to try new things. Drop us a line and we will see if we can accommodate either customizing something for you or creating a craft event for your project.
MY CHILD HAS A VERY SPECIFIC BIRTHDAY THEME/ACTIVITY IN MIND. CAN YOU DESIGN A CUSTOM PARTY ?
Yes, we love to cater to kids who know what they want. Send us an email, call us or come visit us in the studio to discuss the theme and we will be happy to come up with a proposal for you.
I AM AN ARTIST, A PASSIONATE CRAFTER AND I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY PASSION BY HOSTING A WORKSHOP. ARE YOU OPEN TO COLLABORATIONS ?
